YOGA FOR WOMEN
an exclusive seminar with Menaka Dasikachar
TOKYO, JAPAN OCTOBER 28 - 29, 2006

Yoga has a vital role to play in every stage of a womanfs life. From adoles cence to womanhood, from motherhood to menopause and beyond, a womanfs body and mind undergo a myriad of changes, as do her roles and responsibilities.

For these reasons, the ancient masters hailed yoga as one of the best ways for women to nourish their overall health and well-being. Yoga offers many different tools to address the specific needs of each stage in a womanfs life, including asana, pranayama, meditation, mantras, cultivated attitudes, and more.

In this two-day seminar, participants will learn about the role of yoga in nourishing the health and well being of women and about different yoga tools and practices for supporting women in their everyday lives. The seminar will include a wide range of practices including asana, pranayama, chanting and meditation, as well as theoretical presentations and case studies. For this time we invite an another respected teacher, Dr. N Chandrasekaran, senior consultant of yoga therapy at KYM whom teaches yoga with his experience of western medical field. Do not miss this chance to be part of this special event.

This seminar will be especially appealing to women, as well as men who have women in their lives. Please bring a mat, a cushion, and a bottle of water. All proceeds from this seminar will be donated to the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram, a non-profit yoga-healing center, based in India.
